“9th Annual San Antonio SAA Retreat”

SAA members of the San Antonio Area will hold their ninth annual retreat which has as its theme “We stay sober by the Steps we take, not the meetings we make.” on Friday, August 15, through Sunday August 17. The retreat will be held at TECABOCA, Mountain Home, Texas. The event will feature 12 step workshops and presentations by Primary Purpose Group of SAA, Dallas, Fellowship, meetings, meditations, Great food and Great times. On-site sponsors will be available.

What to Bring:

TECABOCA recommends that you bring with you the following articles:

• Bed Sheets for a single bed, pillow, blanket or sleeping bag
• Towels and wash clothes
• Soap and toiletries, shower shoes
• Flashlight
• Phone card for long distance calls (if desired)
• Comfortable shoes, swim trunks (if desired) and weekend clothes

SAA recommends that you bring with you the following articles:

• Notebook, journal, paper, and pencil or pen
• Big Book (blue) Big Book (green), and other spiritual reading materials
  (Participants will definitely need an AA Big Book. All else is optional.)
• Willingness, open-mindedness, and humility

The registration fee is $80 if paid before July 31^st, and $90 if paid thereafter.

Directions:

Take IH-10 West to FM 479 (about 16 miles past Kerrville/SH 16 exit), Exit on FM 479, turn left, crossing over IH-10, Proceed south on FM 479 for 4 miles to SH 27, Turn right on SH 27 and go approximately 2 miles, Camp entrance is 1st road to left after picnic area.
